Lisa Wade Berry

Lisa is a media strategist, author, coach and speaker. Through smart, inspired communication, management and advocacy strategies and personal empowerment coaching, she helps promote positive change from the inside out.

Lisa earned bachelor’s degrees in communication and public relations from William Jewell College in Liberty, Mo., and a master’s degree from the Graduate School of Political Management at George Washington University in Washington, D.C.  For her graduate studies she received the prestigious Henry D. Paley award given to the valedictorian of each graduating class.

She’s trained in and enjoys empowering progress through nonprofit best practices and leadership, effective communication strategies, executive and personal development coaching practices, coalition building and community improvement.

As a Best Year Yet® partner and certified program leader, Lisa helps organizations and individuals make transformational shifts in productivity and their ability to produce results.  In addition, Lisa completed programs with the Coach Training Alliance and has studied with internationally recognized productivity and leadership experts.

A community activist at heart, Lisa has served  on numerous boards to promote arts, education and enhanced quality of life.  She has received training and/or certification in Bridges Out of Poverty, Mental Health First Aid, Nonprofit Standards of Excellence and Economic and Community Development.  She also writes, is trained in and practices energy healing techniques, and is a slow but enthusiastic runner.

While Lisa is serious about the business of personal development, organizational improvement and community enrichment, she doesn’t take herself too seriously.  She believes making a difference can be fun and encourages clients to find joy, and maybe even some humor, in their work.

Lisa lives in a beautiful community in eastern Oklahoma amidst trees, lakes, rivers, rolling hills and a huge, vibrant sky.
