Join us for a day of connection, healing, and playful exploration
Includes yoga, silent hiking, somatics, and lunch
This day retreat invites you to give back to the Forest of Peace in this somatic-intensive fundraiser to help renovate our Bede building, our main meeting space for retreat groups.
You’re invited to a day of receiving the powerful benefits of the Forest of Peace, infused with the somatic guidance of licensed somatic facilitators.
Come ready to embrace joy, connect deeply, and find peace in the magic of this beautiful retreat!
About the Bede building
11:00 AM – 11:30 AM Take a quiet moment for yourself to integrate the morning’s practice and connect with your inner thoughts.
11:30 AM – 12:30 PM Gather around picnic tables for a delicious lunch featuring soup, salad, bread, and dessert. This is a wonderful opportunity to share stories and bond with fellow participants in a relaxed, outdoor setting.
12:30 PM – 1:15 PM Join Katt for an interactive session in the Soma Lab, where you’ll learn powerful somatic release techniques to enhance your body awareness and emotional release abilities.
1:15 PM – 2:00 PM Embark on a mindful hike on the trail towards Lookout #1 with Pam. Feel the earth beneath your feet and immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of nature. Remember, you can choose to turn back after Lookout #2 if you wish.
2:00 PM – 2:30 PM Continue your journey to the serene Zen Garden, where you can savor the peace and tranquility of your surroundings before reflecting on your experiences.
2:30 PM – 3:15 PM Use this time to journal or meditate on your thoughts and feelings from the hike and the day so far, allowing deeper insights to emerge.
3:15 PM – 4:00 PM Join Lindsay for a calming meditation session in the Main Chapel, enriched by Jodi’s energy work to help you center and rejuvenate.
4:00 PM – 4:30 PM Take another moment to reflect quietly on your day, contemplating the practices and connections you’ve experienced.
4:30 PM – 5:30 PM Join small group discussions led by Pam and Lindsay to process your experiences, share insights, and enjoy a light snack. Choose a cozy spot in Bede, the Main House, or outdoors for a warm and inviting conclusion to your day.
